Like every year, the Coque organizes the Night of the Proms again this year. Classic meets pop, suit meets leather jacket, stilettos meet chucks and Tchaikovsky meets the Hooters. While the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra and the Fine Fleur choir are still intoning the classics of Brahms, Handel, Verdi or Bach, they will soon be joined by the legends of rock and pop history at their biggest hits, supported by a spectacular light show and big projections.

With the legendary producer Alan Parsons this year, a still constantly touring Brit is on stage. He delivered radio hits worldwide with "Eye in the Sky" or "Do not answer me".

Al McKay's Earth, Wind & Fire Experience will turn the Night of the Proms into a single large dance floor. The songs of Earth, Wind & Fire may not be missing on a good playlist of a party until today. Prior to joining Earth, Wind & Fire, McKay worked as a guitarist for no less successful stars such as Sammy Davis Jr. or Ike & Tina Turner.

The hits of the US rockers of The Hooters have been part of the daily program of most radio stations for decades. "All You Zombies", "500 Miles" or "Johnny B." are just some of the band's hits from Philadelphia.

With Leslie Clio, a young German artist could be won, who describes her musical style as soul-pop. In 2012 she released her debut single "Told You So", a little later she landed with her second single "Could not Care Less" the catchy tune of the year, which gave her performances with Harald Schmidt and Schlag den Raab.

After exactly 20 years, Natalie Choquette returns to the Night of the Proms stage with an artist who caused a sensation with her performance in 1999. The then very pregnant Choquette shone with humorously interpreted arias and for some visitors even Zucchero and Status Quo in the shade.

Of course, John Miles will once again have a permanent place in the program in this edition of the Night of the Proms. The likeable Brit from Newcastle delivers with his world hit "Music (was my first love)" not only the anthem of this tour, but inspired for many years the audience with his interpretations of well-known hits.
